Most especially those parents who have kids at a very young age. Balancing work, good parenting, and household errands require excellent time management. I have seen my cousins struggle with this a lot!
In today's blog I will give you some tips on how to handle chores based on my keen observances!! I hope this helps!
WHAT?
What are things that you should be prioritizing? Apparently, it is quite hard to choose what to prioritize first in dealing with such situations. Focusing on the little details of your house first, before going to the big ones could go a long way. This includes parts of the house that seemingly looks clean unless you take a closer look at it.
Put attention to cleaning parts of your house that usually gets your attention by chance. For example, the table where your family portraits are displayed. Some might not notice the dust on the tables because it cannot be seen easily. And this might be quite the deal because visitors usually checks on your family portraits, you don't want them to sneeze right after seeing your pictures, right? This also includes the corners of your windows, arm rest chairs, cabinets, and dividers. By the time you finish cleaning the mentioned areas, you can now proceed to cleaning the bigger areas of your house.
In this manner of cleaning from small areas to bigger areas, you will be able to assure yourself that you have accomplished everything right. Always remember that the small details of your house are often forgotten so you have to accomplish it first all the time. Also, it will save time because you won't be needing to check on everything anymore before proceeding to work or babysitting.
WHEN?
Cleaning is a process. With proper organization of your tasks, you will progress quicker than your usual. Sweeping the floors of your house is best done after dusting. This is the best time to meticulously check on the corners of the house that has so much dirt. Also, this will help you to reduce the time of sweeping because all possible types of the dirt are down to the ground already. Right after sweeping, is mopping time! This is to remove sticky and wet silt attached to the floor.
Just remember that doing things in a repetitive manner is very time-consuming. Strategize and know when's the right time to do specific tasks.
