PIZZA AND FRIENDS

POSSIBLY THE BEST PIZZA STOP IN JACKSON

HEIGHTS

What's your ideal Friday night? Mine would be going to the movies with a bunch of friends, having couple of beers and good food after. Recently, my friends and I have been going to Gianni Pizza a lot since we love the vibe and we all share the same passion for Pizza.

Well, my friends and I have been pretty busy with our personal lives and careers, but we always make sure to have a catch-up session at least once a week, so we make it a point to grab some of the nicest dinners we could have for every time we meet.

Now, let's talk about how we got introduced to the restaurant. My friend Joe celebrated his birthday November last year, and of course, it is best to celebrate life with the food we love most; PIZZA! As we were looking for the best place to celebrate at, Gianni Pizza's cool exteriors pulled us inside the restaurant and as we went inside, the interiors didn't disappoint as well!

As we were getting along, the very accommodating staff and crew immediately acknowledged our presence and gave us a seat and handed us the menu. Few minutes later, the waiter arrived with a complimentary basket of fresh Italian bread and a dip made of olive oil, Parmesan cheese and aged balsamic vinegar. (without any assurance whether we'll purchase something or not HAHA!) and damn it was hella' good!

Anyway, let's talk about the food we ordered that night that has also became our favorites every time we visit them:

Fried Olives and Prosciutto-wrapped Grilled Fig Salad -best paired with White Wine.

Truffle Mushroom Pizza x Classic Margherita Pizza x Quattro Formaggio Pizza

Classico Carbonara x Spaghetti Vongole x Fettucine Beef Ragu

U.S. Angus Sirloin x Rib Eye Steak

Oh God! my mouth is watering as I make this blog! HAHA

Well, I'm putting the spotlight now on their marinara sauce, I love how Gianni Pizza adjusts the taste of their marinara sauce according to the preference of their because authentic Italian marinara sauce is usually extra sour and tangy. They actually have a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the sourest. Also, not only that they give huge servings of their food but they serve it great passion when it comes to plating! (VERY INSTAGRAM WORTHY haha). But the main reason why we keep on coming back to Gianni Pizza is that aside from the fact they serve really good food, their staff and crew surely knows how to treat their customers right. The moment you step in to the restaurant you'd feel their jolly and pleasing personalities right away up until the moment you come out the door. Who wouldn't come back to a place with good food and quality service, right? Oh well, one thing's for sure, you'd definitely love Gianni Pizza as much as my friends and I do. Ciao!
