PIZZA AND FRIENDS

POSSIBLY THE BEST PIZZA STOP IN JACKSON

HEIGHTS

What's your ideal Friday night? Mine would be going to the movies with a bunch of friends, having couple of beers and good food after. Recently, my friends and I have been going to Gianni Pizza a lot since we love the vibe and we all share the same passion for Pizza.

Well, my friends and I have been pretty busy with our personal lives and careers, but we always make sure to have a catch-up session at least once a week, so we make it a point to grab some of the nicest dinners we could have for every time we meet.

Now, let's talk about how we got introduced to the restaurant. My friend Joe celebrated his birthday November last year, and of course, it is best to celebrate life with the food we love most; PIZZA! As we were looking for the best place to celebrate at, Gianni Pizza's cool exteriors pulled us inside the restaurant and as we went inside, the interiors didn't disappoint as well!

As we were getting along, the very accommodating staff and crew immediately acknowledged our presence and gave us a seat and handed us the menu. Few minutes later, the waiter arrived with a complimentary basket of fresh Italian bread and a dip made of olive oil, Parmesan cheese and aged balsamic vinegar. (without any assurance whether we'll purchase something or not HAHA!) and damn it was hella' good!

Anyway, let's talk about the food we ordered that night that has also became our favorites every time we visit them:

Fried Olives and Prosciutto-wrapped Grilled Fig Salad -best paired with White Wine.

Truffle Mushroom Pizza x Classic Margherita Pizza x Quattro Formaggio Pizza

Classico Carbonara x Spaghetti Vongole x Fettucine Beef Ragu

U.S. Angus Sirloin x Rib Eye Steak

Oh God! my mouth is watering as I make this blog! HAHA

Well, I'm putting the spotlight now on their marinara sauce, I love how Gianni Pizza adjusts the taste of their marinara sauce according to the preference of their because authentic Italian marinara sauce is usually extra sour and tangy. They actually have a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the sourest. Also, not only that they give huge servings of their food but they serve it great passion when it comes to plating! (VERY INSTAGRAM WORTHY haha). But the main reason why we keep on coming back to Gianni Pizza is that aside from the fact they serve really good food, their staff and crew surely knows how to treat their customers right. The moment you step in to the restaurant you'd feel their jolly and pleasing personalities right away up until the moment you come out the door. Who wouldn't come back to a place with good food and quality service, right? Oh well, one thing's for sure, you'd definitely love Gianni Pizza as much as my friends and I do. Ciao!

Where to Focus, Young Man?

Hello there! I understand the struggle of parents who deal with household chores without the help of housekeepers. I personally know how hard it is focus on a lot of things, all at once. Most especially those parents who have kids at a very young age. Balancing work, good parenting, and household errands require excellent time management. I have seen my cousins struggle with this a lot!

In today's blog I will give you some tips on how to handle chores based on my keen observances!! I hope this helps!

WHAT?

What are things that you should be prioritizing? Apparently, it is quite hard to choose what to prioritize first in dealing with such situations. Focusing on the little details of your house first, before going to the big ones could go a long way. This includes parts of the house that seemingly looks clean unless you take a closer look at it.

Put attention to cleaning parts of your house that usually gets your attention by chance. For example, the table where your family portraits are displayed. Some might not notice the dust on the tables because it cannot be seen easily. And this might be quite the deal because visitors usually checks on your family portraits, you don't want them to sneeze right after seeing your pictures, right? This also includes the corners of your windows, arm rest chairs, cabinets, and dividers. By the time you finish cleaning the mentioned areas, you can now proceed to cleaning the bigger areas of your house.

In this manner of cleaning from small areas to bigger areas, you will be able to assure yourself that you have accomplished everything right. Always remember that the small details of your house are often forgotten so you have to accomplish it first all the time. Also, it will save time because you won't be needing to check on everything anymore before proceeding to work or babysitting.

WHEN?

Cleaning is a process. With proper organization of your tasks, you will progress quicker than your usual. Sweeping the floors of your house is best done after dusting. This is the best time to meticulously check on the corners of the house that has so much dirt. Also, this will help you to reduce the time of sweeping because all possible types of the dirt are down to the ground already. Right after sweeping, is mopping time! This is to remove sticky and wet silt attached to the floor.

Just remember that doing things in a repetitive manner is very time-consuming. Strategize and know when's the right time to do specific tasks.

WHERE?

Knowing the right areas where you stay-put your tools and equipment plays a vital role in General House Cleaning . This is to lessen the time of putting it up all together before starting. Tucking it in all in one place will allow you to organize them by use. Also, because some cleaning agents have a strong content that's why it should be kept away from other stuff in the house. Most especially, grocery items.

For safety purposes

Keeping it in a place where it is safely stored will guarantee you that your kids won't have the luxury to play with it. It is best to put signs that restricts the young ones to enter your storage room. The cleaning chemical is hazardous. So better keep everything away from the kids.

The surroundings of your house should be neat and clean at all times. General House Cleaning isn't only a priority because your house should always look presentable, it is a responsibility and way of life. A house isn't a home if it is not safe. Safe from germs, viruses, and etc. We want our houses to be safe for our family on the daily as well. I hope today's blog helped!

World's Famous Coffee

It's no-brainer that coffee has been the number one go-to energy supplier of busy bees like me, ever since. I personally think that coffee has helped me meet deadlines and finish a lot of work without falling a sleep during my all-nighters. Not gonna lie, I am so close to considering myself as a coffee addict! Because in the morning, I would usually make myself a heavy mug to pair with my breakfast, then, another one in the afternoon, and at least 2-3 cups at work (11pm-7am shift). Sometimes I feel like my body composition has 80% caffeine and 20% left for others. Believer it or not, COFFEE makes everything better just like bacon. Well, I know that it would be very hard for people who hates coffee to understand my sentiments. But, for sure people who get me will definitely share the same thoughts. I mean, the smell and the contrasting taste of bitterness and a bit of sweetness is just pure PERFECTION!

COFFEE OUTSIDE, HOW 'BOUT THAT?

In my opinion, coffee shops play a crucial role in the chaos of people working on the daily. Aside from restaurants and fast food chains that help us get through the day by giving us food, coffee shops on the hand, saves time and effort of those who look for their daily caffeine fix to start or to finally cap off their day. Also, this industry digs deeper when it comes to their target market. Not only did they focus on adults and young adults but also the teens or the so called "Millenials."  That's why many coffee shops have vastly sprung everywhere. Offering different variations of coffee, frappe, and etc. For they know that, the young ones will enjoy a somehow "customized" coffee that would benefit them according to their preferences. But, I guess, even with all the props, adjustments, and other catchy setups in hand, people will always go to the more popular ones or those who have established a big name already. And I think, Starbucks is the perfect spot if you're looking for a place to have your quick grab of coffee or an hour or so stay with your friends/colleagues.

Starbucks has become one of the many faces of pop culture. With 45 years of great coffee, pastries, and service tucked under their belt, it isn't surprising as to why many of us don't get tired of what they have to offer. Well, if you're not a coffee lover there are still reasons why you still have to check out Starbucks. Here's why:

1.) WARM AMBIANCE

If you feel like having an alone time with your book with some good coffee and cake, well, I have to say you'll definitely have a good stay with them. And guess what? They also play good music! Not to mention- their bashful staff and baristas that will make you feel at home and very relaxed.

2.) INSTAGRAM-WORTHY

For Instagram enthusiasts like me who shamelessly take pics every time we see our prospect for our next IG post, thank the heavens for Starbucks! HAHA! I've lost count on how many branches I have visited yet, but trust me, you'll have at least 3 pending posts for every branch you visit! :)

3.) GOOD FOOD & NON-COFFEE DRINKS

I am in great awe with how Starbucks somehow mixed up their menu with items that people who do not fancy coffee would enjoy. They have non-coffee drinks!! Also, they serve great food. They have cakes, waffles, and a combination of sweet and savory sandwiches and paninis! My personal fave is this mushroom and cheese panini!

That's it! Just always remember that too much of everything is always bad so it is best to put everything in moderation! Thanks for reading! <3

FMG: Fat Man's Guide

In my younger years, I've always been so insecure about the way I look; specifically on my weight. I'm a guy who has big nose, big lips, dry & frizzy hair, and a big big belly. But the thing is, I never really used my insecurities to pull myself down. Instead, I looked for ways on how I would overcome such situations. There was a time where I tried working out and eat healthy food but to be honest, it was and will never be my thing. I love food so much!! I also tried focusing on other things that would lure my attention away from eating so much food, like, Hiking & Swimming but then again FOOD IS LIFE! HAHAHAHA...There's no denying that I have zero discipline when it comes to consuming food so I just kept on looking for ways on how I would make myself feel better and to keep my self-esteem higher than usual. Until my friend, Hazel told me about what good sense of fashion can do! She said that there's more to life than depriving yourself from things you love most. And I was like, finally! I have found the best remedy to somehow cover up my flaws without sacrificing my most favorite thing in the world!

2017

This year, I promised myself that I will start experimenting styles, fashion-wise. It's only the third month of the year and yet I have already worn a lot of different styles that I think would fit my body structure. At first, it will be quite tiring and of course, a little intimidating. Specially when you see other fit guys pull off their outfits! But, in order for you to look good and feel good, ACCEPTANCE is key! You have to be honest with yourself and accept the fact that you have full control of your body and this is what you chose for yourself. Face it and regret nothing! That's basically it! Nothing more, nothing less.

BASIC RULES

I know you guys think that the more clothes you wear, the better. But, that's really not the case here. Stylish and elegant clothes are usually simple yet stunning. Perhaps, it always depends on the person wearing it. It's always refreshing to have a look where you look very comfortable. Sometimes, having too much clothes make your outfit a little too much. And that's no-no!

The layering of clothes actually can make or break your outfit! So better know the different combinations that fits your style for the day. For us, big guys it is just right to put some layering to cover up some of our unnecessary fats but also take good notice of clothes that bulk up our tummy instead of hiding it. But this is only a tip, as I've said, it will always on how you carry your outfit!

It doesn't really matter how big you are. Fashion isn't always about size. And i'm very happy that nywholesale.com have everything I want! In fact, they're very flexible with the sizes for big guys like me at a very low price! Thank God for them! Oh well, just always remember that "A guy with a good fashion statement will always have a place in a girl's heart!" That's it! Thank for reading! <3

What's in Ottawa?

My love for Japanese food is far beyond words. I don't really know but I think it has become a routine for me to at least have a Japanese food fix once a week. It is really my comfort food for every time I feel extremely happy or sad. Well, good thing is that Nagoya is just a 15 min. cab ride from home. HAHA! They serve really good and amazing Japanese food at a very reasonable price. I mean, it's quite pricey but hell, it's all worth it! You'll be amazed at how they manage to have the same quality of food as to Japan's. I'm not even kidding, the legitimacy of their food is something you wouldn't mind indulging every day. (well, in my case I really can eat Japanese food everyday) HAHA!

At Nagoya, ordering is straight-up, no frills, and quick. Their food is made to order, so rest assured you're getting freshly created masterpieces. But of course, the time prep sometimes takes a little longer for a guaranteed delicious food. What's really amazing is that some of their dishes are prepared and cooked right in front your eyes so you can actually watch the chefs do their thing as you patiently wait for it to be done.

Spice-Rubbed Ribeye Steak

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST STEAK I HAVE HAD IN MY LIFE! MY VISITS WOULDN'T BE COMPLETE WITHOUT THIS ONE! GAAA!!

SWEAR, THIS IS SOMETHING YOU WOULDN'T MIND EATING EVERYDAY! HAHA THE COMBINATION OF BUTTER AND GARLIC TOOK IT TO ANOTHER LEVEL! YUM!

Seared Tuna Nigiri

THE SMOKY TASTE OF TUNA OVER STICKY RICE WITH SESAME OIL AND SPECIAL SAUCE WILL DEFINITELY SATISFY YOUR BUDS!

Ebi Tempura Tower

MY FAVORITE! THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW GREAT THEIR EBI TEMPURA IS! THE COATING AND THE DIP WOOH!!! PERFECTION!

Okonomiyaki

I NEVER THOUGHT I'D LOVE THE MIX OF VEGGIES, MEAT, AND SEAFOOD SO MUCH UNTIL I TASTED THIS OKONOMIYAKI! HUHU

Spicy Miso Ramen

WOW! JUST WOW! ALL I CAN SAY IS JUST WOW! THE BROTH IS SO RICH! NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT THEY SERVE IT IN A HUGE-ASS BOWL GOOD FOR 3

Up until now, even though I go there for some quite time I never get tired of their food! It's so overwhelming that I get to treat myself with really good food after a very tiring week. I love how i'm not afraid of exploring their menu! Everything is so good to the point that I always get so confused on how what to order each in every time I visit! Hayyyy <3

Also, in my weekly visits in Nagoya, never had a time did they disappoint me in terms of service. The staff and crew were always welcoming and polite. Even in times where they're jam-packed, I never saw them frown or ignore their customers' requests. And I think this is what made me so attached to them. Visit them at 2140 S Princeton Circle Dr, Ottawa, KS and for delivery you can call them at 785-893-8299. Best Night Ever!

BEST NIGHT EVER

Apparently, my friends and I have been going out a lot on weekends. Who doesn't want to have a little "happy hour" with friends after a very tiresome week, right? But for every once in a while, we make sure that we let ourselves get out of our comfort zones and have a night out where we all pass out and do crazy things. And last Saturday, we just had the best time of our lives!

Last Saturday, my friends and I got a little hyped about what we recently read on the net about an escort service agency called AsianGirlEscortNYC. We don't usually hire girls to entertain us but this time it's a little different. Based on what we have read, AsianGirl offers a lot of "out of this world" services, so might as well give it a try. We decided not to go out that time because we all got a little lazy just by thinking of the travel time to go to some of the best clubs in New York

We called the agency and after 30 mins.....the girls finally arrived......and DAMN, THEY ALL LOOK SO FINE!!!

As soon as the girls arrived, we immediately welcomed them with a couple of drinks and what amazed us was that they were all game and initiated the conversations right away! They definitely set the mood on fire the moment they sat on the couch. Then, one of the girls (Keishia) wanted to play a game of "Truth or Dare." and I don't think it's appropriate if I share it to you detailed. HAHA. But to tell you, it was really something you never thought could happen in reality. We were all shocked at how the girls handled the dares we gave them. We all thought it only happens in the movies or so, but OMG! they all made our wildest fetishes in to reality.

After the game, a lot of dancing happened. THE GIRLS WERE SO GOOD AT GIVING US EROTIC DANCE MOVES!!!! We were all sweaty and stuff the moment they started twerking and bounced their booties right in front of our very eyes! Oh my God! It was so amazing!

All I can say is that, these girls truly exceeded all our expectations and came up with a little more to make our night the most memorable one! We didn't have any idea on how long the girls could last when it comes to drinking but damn they didn't back down and even challenged us to buy some more booze. How cool is that? It was a really fun night that we didn't want it to end but of course, as the cliche goes "All good things must come to and end" But one thing's for sure, WE WILL DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN! (I cannot contain my excitement to call them again for a good time as I type this) Well, you better check them out to get the same feeling I got when we hired them.

TONKATSU FEVER

There is something about Tonkatsu that makes me so addicted to it. I love it so much to the point that I never let a week pass without having it. Though, it's so unhealthy but ever since, (only God knows when) I've always loved fried food. Who wouldn't love the crunchy, buttery, and flavorful taste of tender boneless pork, right?

There are so many stores selling Tonkatsu here in Kansas but whenever I feel like treating myself, I go to the best Katsu house for me, Nagoya, to put my Katsu fix satisfied. When it comes to food, i'm totally fine with spending a little much for as long as it makes me extremely happy. I've tried other Katsu houses around the city but they're no match to the masterpiece of  Nagoya. I don't know if I'm biased, but in all sorts, I think they have got my buds all satisfied aside from the fact that their nearest branch is just 15 mins. away from home. HAHA!

I'm a guy who eats so a lot, so, I really love it when the restaurant I'm eating at has huge servings. This is what pulled my heart closer to their Katsu. Not to mention that they have unlimited rice, shredded cabbage, and miso soup. You also get to create your own katsu sauce with their so called "ritual." You pound your sesame seeds in a bowl then add sesame oil and then finally a scoop or two of their special tonkatsu sauce.

Now, let's talk about my personal favorite, their Rosu Set, deep fried pork with a sliver of glistening fat trimmings in crisp golden panko. The fat trimmings take the tonkatsu to a whole new level of goodness. As soon as you take a bite it melts in your mouth right away. I like mixing my shredded cabbage with spicy mayo sauce, it goes well with my tonkatsu! Yum!

I love how great this Rosu Katsu is, that I also happen to eat this for two consecutive days last week. HAHA.

I love how the chefs put their heart and soul to every food they serve. You can taste genuine Japanese goodness in every bite for sure. I'm so mesmerized on how they manage to put so much flavors in their food without sacrificing the texture and appearance of the food. Though, the preparation time is quite long, I guarantee you that it's all worth it!

Well, they don't only focus on Katsus, they also offer a wide variation of authentic Japanese food. Sushi, Japanese steak, and many more. You can also try their Ramen Thursdays! 50% discount on all available Ramen. You'll definitely love it!

How do the Japanese spend their Summer?

How do the Japanese spend their Summer?

Often do we see the Japanese people wear light pieces of clothing due to their cold and cozy weather. We are so used to seeing them wear heavy jackets, beanies, and boots. Anyway, have you ever wondered how the people of Japan spend the Summer season?

Well, if that's the case here are some of the most popular local activities during summer in Japan:

1. Yukata Matsuri

- Most Japanese attend festivals, during Summer. Especially, the Yukata Matsuri held from July 22-24 where Japanese men and women get to wear light cotton casual kimonos (Yukata) during the event. The "matsuri" or festival usually have countless food vendors and souvenir stalls, programs, and oftentimes fireworks display at the end of the festival.

2. Beach

-Little did some of you know, that Japanese people also love the beach! Especially, in the middle of the summer heat. From late July to late August, families with young children and the group of youth who visit the beach. The most popular beach destinations in Japan are Okinawa, Izu Peninsula and Ogsawara Islands. Tho, Japan is still one of the most underrated beach destinations in Asia.

3. Firework Festivals

-During Summer, one of the best activities is watching fireworks display. There are thousands of fireworks displayed all over Japan during July to September. From small matsuris to hours of continuous fireworks like in Fukoroi, Shizouka. The Fukoroi fireworks display usually happen on the second weekend of August every year. Summer nights in Japan are usually well spent with good dinner and fireworks display after.

4. Water Parks

-Since Japan, has a cold weather, Water Parks are only open a few months a year. Japan's water parks are only open during Summer. They usually open early July and close early September making Japan's water parks jam-packed on these months.

5. Camping

-Camping has only just only just became famous among Japan. Yet, despite it being a recent trend there are already campgrounds nestled in the entire country. If you are planning to go camping during the summer school vacation you better make reservations!

Figuratively, Japan's Summer season is one of the hottest. The list of activities cited above are just some activities during Summer season frequently done by the locals. Well, why not explore a little and try going where Japanese people go during summer? instead of visiting temples and shopping; go and do activities that let you mingle with people. Plan your summer vacation right, visit Japan and try to do all the activities out with your friends and family!

Why choose TheAssistantServices.com?

Why choose TheAssistantServices.com?

Have you ever wondered how it feels to be a parent with so much things to handle all at once? From working at least 8 hours a day, doing the household chores to taking care of the kids. As a parent, of course, you have to master the art of multi-tasking. But multi-tasking is quite equivalent to mediocrity. Of course, with the daily demands of work and growing list of responsibilities, it's not uncommon to say that my family and I tend to do the things we have to do instead of the things we want to do and in order to save time, you will have to do things as fast and as good (not the best) you can and this is kind of affecting their performance at work and their job as parents as well. The things we do for the family requires a lot of time, effort, attention and affection. Good thing, I was able to discover theassistantservices.com who offers wide variety of household services!  With this site, I was able to help my parents lessen their workload and stress-level at home (AT LEAST haha).

They have a team of housekeepers, handymen, movers and dry cleaners that put hours back into my family's week that allows us to do the things we want to do. How cool is that? Not to mention -the quality of their services. We have been hiring their team to do our errands at home for months now and ever since, the quality of their service haven't changed even a little. My mom commends them on how meticulous they are even on the little details of dirt in our house. The thing is they do it with so much grace and with finesse. Also, when it comes to the laundry, despite the fact that they only demand a couple of hours; they manage to do the laundry without causing any damage to the fabrics! Plus, they fix the bedrooms like elite housekeepers from a Five-star hotel! Who wouldn't want that?
And big thanks to them as well for making our kitchen look good, that's why my mom cooks so much better now!
